ODEX & CORE DRILLING

.jpg)

ODEX (Overburden Drilling Excentric) is a drilling method that advances casing simultaneously while drilling through overburden, particularly in areas where gravel, sands boulders or other sloughing or problem zones are expected. Great to seal off a problem zone for Coring or Auger Operations.

Coring (Core Drilling) The diamond core drilling method typically used in mineral exploration and geological surveys or hard rock formations. PDC coring utilizes polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutters, designed for high-speed drilling and longer bit life, particularly in formations where traditional diamond bits might wear quickly or fail to penetrate efficiently.
